SPECIALISMS: Mortgages, Protection
My role involves meeting clients, understanding their current situation, and helping them find a way to achieve their goals and aspirations.
I have been providing Financial Services advice since 1996, initially advising on pensions and investments as a ‘Man from the Pru’, and thereafter working alongside estate agents and other professionals to help their clients find suitable finance to meets their needs, more recently focusing on mortgages and the associated areas of protection.
I am still trying to persuade a lender to design an ‘interest free’ mortgage (often requested by our clients!) where you can spend more of your time enjoying your sporting interests while you are young and fit enough to do so, then ‘catch up’ with your mortgage repayments later when the body has started to fall apart, but the brain still works!! I suspect that this will still be a dream when I retire, unless Carlsberg Bank opens a branch in the UK!
Outside of work, my interests include most sports, where I currently play in the Premiership of the Devon Squash Leagues, as well as keeping fit and sport on a social level including tennis, golf, and weekend cycling with the family! I also enjoy a bit of DIY and gardening at home.
