Peter Whiteley

Pete has worked in the financial services sector since 1996, in roles with a major Life Assurance company, local Independent Financial Adviser and within the financial services team of a local firm of Estate Agents. Outside of work his interests include most forms of sport, where he currently plays in the Premiership of the Devon Squash Leagues, as well as keeping fit and sport on a social level including tennis, golf, and weekend cycling with the family!
He is still trying to persuade a lender to design an 'interest free' mortgage (often requested by our clients!) where you can spend more of your time enjoying your sporting interests while you are young and fit enough to do so, then 'catch up' with your mortgage repayments later when the body has started to fall apart, but the brain still works!! I suspect that this will still be a dream when I retire, unless Carlsberg Bank opens a branch in the UK!
Ally Whiteley

Ally has worked in the financial services sector since 1896 (well she says it feels like that sometimes!), in roles with a Building Society and major Life Assurance company, following on to set up the financial services department for a local Estate Agent, prior to starting Together Financial Solutions with Pete. Outside of work Ally's interests include playing tennis and keeping fit; reading about nutrition and making the most of family time - enjoying living in a wonderful part of the country!
Gideon Williams
Independent Mortgage Adviser
Gideon has been working in financial services for over 15 years having started as a man from the Pru, moving on to Webbers Financial Services and finally joining us at Together. He enjoys all forms of motorsport and loves to look after and drive his replica AC Cobra. Clients will often call, asking to speak with the adviser who helped them last time - often recalled as 'Gabriel'. This never ceases to amuse the rest of the staff, no matter how many times we hear it!
Patrick Stirling
Independent Mortgage Adviser
Patrick joined Together in 2009 after 20 years with the Halifax specialising in Mortgages. He enjoys most sports, travel and can often be seen falling off horses in his spare time! He lives in North Cornwall and is happy to meet customers out of normal working hours.
P.S. he is far more intelligent than Gabriel whose brain has been damaged by constant buffeting of cold winds in his Cobra!!!!
Karen Butler
Independent Mortgage Adviser
Karen started off her career behind the counter in a building society before working as a conveyancer in a busy firm of solicitors in the South East. She then moved into a local South West estate agency for many years including spending time running a property management department. Karen has now added the role of financial advisor to her portfolio - and if she is not here in a few years time, it will be because she has decided to complete her career as a surveyor!!!
Andrew Haynes

Andrew Haynes, is an Independent Financial Adviser with 20 years experience in the industry. Having spent most of his life in Staffordshire, Andy, his wife Claire and their two boys succumbed to the call of the sea and moved down to Devon in 2011. Andy says,"I still have to pinch myself to believe it is real, it is a fantastic place to live, work and play. The area offers so much for the boys and the people are so friendly, we all really feel at home."
Andy enjoys surfing and bodyboarding and is open to any advice on how to gain the blonde dreadlocked hair to keep him true to the surfer style!
Andy believes customer focus is the number one priority when it comes to financial services. Much of his business comes from referrals from customers who feel that the service they received, merits their recommendation. And to the people who say it is impossible to get a mortgage these days, well they haven't been speaking to the right person.
Kevan Buller
Independent Financial Adviser
Kevan was brought up locally, in Braunton, and is very much a family man who is happily married to his lovely wife Jean, with three children who have managed to ensure that their family name will continue on in future years by giving him five lovely grandchildren thus far. He is CeMAP qualified and specialises in providing independent advice for mortgages and Protection, and has been doing so since 1998. Kevan's initial career was spent in the forces, training and working as professional military musician for the first 8 years and military accountant for the last 5 years until leaving the services in 1985.
His interest for music and the playing of a musical instrument started during his later school years, when he joined his own school's band in Braunton and the Braunton orchestra and learned how to play the trumpet. Even today, he is a member of two local bands and enjoys to spend his spare time playing his musical instruments, doing concerts and performing to the public by playing Cornet with the Barnstaple Concert Band and Trumpet with the Cedars Big band. Plus, the occasional self indulgence of public Karaoke singing.
Dave Corrick

Having worked with two major high street banks for a total of 38 years; the last 15 of which have been in North Devon, in the commercial lending sector, Dave is well placed to advise and source finance for all types of businesses, from those looking to buy their first business, to others who may simply want to 'MOT' their present facilities. Dave describes his approach , as what is now termed the old fashioned type of bank manager; honest down to earth advice; flexible and willing to listen and to suggest alternatives.
Testimony to his integrity is the regard he is held in by a wide range of professionals and colleagues in the area.
Dave's Interests include walking the coast and countryside of the area; photography; gardening, and collecting medals.
Rochelle Coates
Protection & Insurance Adviser
Rochelle joined Together in January 2005, shortly after moving to Devon to join her family. She began as a part of the processing team, and has since moved on to becoming a Protection & Insurance Adviser and will shortly begin her training for mortgage advice.
She enjoys spending time with her family including her 4 younger brothers & sisters and her baby niece!
Becky Slee
Independent Mortgage Adviser
Becky is the latest addition to the Together team, having returned to her home County of Devon from Bath where she worked for Cheltenham & Gloucester as a Mortgage Adviser before moving on to be a Case Manager for a Mortgage Broker. Becky's interests include keeping fit and reading when she finds the time to do so! She is currently renovating her house with a small amount of help from her husband! (Let's hope he doesn't read this then! - Ed)
Penny Quick
Administrator (and jolly good egg!)
Penny has joined us to cover Becky's maternity leave. Her background is in management, specifically customer service about which she has a passion. She's lived in Devon for around 15 years and loves it to bits. There's nothing she enjoys more than walking with her hubby and dog in the woods near where she lives. She tells us he's a young and delightfully mad Dogs Trust lab-collie cross and we're presuming that's her dog not her husband!
